I am often in Manila Bay and have always appreciated the stunning sunsets. Last Sunday I was in the bay and I saw the Whiskered Terns flying around and I thought it would be interesting to try to capture a flying tern against the Manila Bay sunset.
Sylvia joined me, yesterday and we spent a pleasant afternoon taking pictures. She was practicing her BIF technique with the 400mm. I was trying to combine the birds and the sunset. I used a very short 105mm lens so I could get a nice sunset picture. It was fun and I hope to improve on my technique with enough practice and experimentation.
The sun sets fast so there is not much time to take the pictures and the birds don't want to pose! Hehe. But I took a few that were kinda ok. Here is one that I like.
