Excellent captures of this rarely photographed endemic, JP.... congrats! Looks like you were able to get very close, the DOF was paper thin even at f/7.1.

yes paper thin Romy actually the bird got close to us as it was feeding on ants and the rough skin of the stem that it was sitting on
