At least, I think it is, and a lifer for me. WhimbrelNumenius phaeopusCanon EOS40D + Canon 400mmL+ Kenko 1.4xTC Benro tripod + gimbal head support f8 1/160s ISO320 manual focus, manual exposure Spent the weekend at with the family at Real, Quezon. Beach is never the best for swimming but the drive and seafood is always great. Sorry for the blurred shot. Light was low and wind was whipping like a jilted witch on the beach.

Congrats on the lifer, Ding..... I've been chasing this bird lately to improve my early captures, but I'm having a string of bad luck looking for this one.

Congrats, Ding. A birdnut will always find a way to shoot avian creatures wherever he/she goes.

Found on the shore of one of the rivers that cross the main (and only?) highway along teh coast of Real, Quezon. Not sure if it frequents the place, though. Went back for it next day and didn't find it. Congrats on the lifer, Ding..... What's up with these birds who won't stay and keep still in one place (or proabably it's still there hiding, they're good at it)Congrats anyway Ding, you catched a one-timer.
