After not being able to go birding for a long time, a trip to Subic was a welcome treat. Prayed real hard that we will be blessed with lots of birds... BOY, we were truly blessed that weekend. Was so happy for Sylvia & Family because they got to see A LOT of Philippine endemics including 6 RUFOUS COUCALS on their first "birding" trip in Subic. Wow beautiful endemic captures Idol Tins. Racquet-tail and Sooty Woodpecker among the top of my wishlist. Big congrats, you are truly blessed.

Thanks a lot Rey and Mark Haaaay my only frustration is that those rufous coucals are such shy and magulo birds. Always hiding na nga tapos so malikot pa. When oh whennnnn will I ever get good shots of those pakipot na birds ;D ;D ;D

Very nice, Plain Idol..... you're really a bird magnet, I've seen very few birds at Subic in my last several trips. Love the clear view of the racquet tail!
