Seeing conditions were not so bad over Metro Manila a few nights ago, so I set up my mooning rig and tried to push my Sigmonster to near its optical limits. Montes Appeninus - March 4, 2009, Manila (20:03:00 local time), Canon 5D2 + Sigmonster (Sigma 300-800 DG) + stacked Canon 2x/1.4x TCs, 2263 mm, f/25, 1/30 sec, ISO 320, manual exposure, manual focus, Manfrotto 475B tripod/3421 gimbal head, processed 100% crop. A link to the whole visible moon (where the crop was taken) resized to 50%: www.pbase.com/liquidstone/image/109850196/originalHere's an online photo of the place where Apollo 15 supposedly landed: (Ref. - www.lpl.arizona.edu/~rhill/moonobs.html#Apollo15 ) I rotated my photo by 100 degress counter-clockwise, then upressed it to 200%. Looks like the vicinity of the landing site is identifiable. ;D ;D ;D

Wow, I always take time to shoot the moon and your photo is too awesome. I hope you got a photo taken a few months ago when the moon was biggest and nearest to our earth.
