Decided to re-process some of my older pictures. One of my favorites that regularly visit our garden. These pictures are of one family of long tailed shrikes. 2 juveniles and the mother or the dad. The juveniles were very demanding of it's mama or papa bird. It would always cry out REALLY LOUD whenever it wanted food to be served. Calling out to the mama or papa shrike When the call wouldn't work and it got tired of calling nicely, it decided to shrieeeeek to death like crazy. Here's the juvenile bird with the mama or papa long-tailed shrike. The adult looked so thin, tired and frail from looking for food (insects & worms) to feed the juvenile birds. Here's the other juvenile bird looking at it's brother or sister perched on the ivy.

Thank you Ding, Raul and Neon Ding : Took these photos last year pa. No babies lately. I do have one photo with the juvenile getting it's food from the mom or dad and another photo with the juvenile figuring out what to do with a live worm that was squirming on the ground in front of him/her. Raul : My first time to see one too when I took these photos. I was confused as to what kind of bird it was. Was thinking maybe it's a morph of a brown shrike and a long tailed shrike - HehEHeHee Neon : Wawa naman the baby bird noh. I also have a few photos of a long-tailed shrike with a baby ETS. One picture shows the long-tailed shrike with blood on it's beak that's about to drop on the ETS it was tearing apart
