Here's the shot I entered in the Flying Waders Contest. Sad to say, there were only two entries, so the contest was voided. EOS 40D; 100-400mm F4-5.6L IS at 400mm, F/5.6, 1/1250, ISO 200, Hand-held, JPEG Large, Jugan Fish Ponds and my take of the Philippine Nightjar at UP:

Excellent detail on the Stilt, Bobby..... FF flight shots are very rare!
Did you do the Neon Rustle to make the Nightjar open its eyes? ;D

Great stilt shot, tukayo! I love the sheen on the wing feathers!

Thanks Master Romy and Bob K. The "Neon Rustle" was employed by Prop Jerry - after I took the shots, hahahaha. The bird was awake when we got there, but Prop shook a nearby shrub to death anyway. Big smile on his face, too.

Hey, I voted for your shot! It was very honorable of you to deadball the competition.
