Love it when there are no clouds in the western horizon that obscure the dying light of the day in my favorite wetlands. These pics were taken less than 30 minutes before the sun disappeared (sunset is around 5:45 pm currently). Both were with the 40D + 500 f4 IS + Canon 1.4x, 700 mm, Ix! bean bag, RAW, and manual exposure in syruppy sweet light. Common Moorhen ( Gallinula chloropus, sub-adult) 5:17 PM, 1/250 sec, f/7.1, ISO 320 A Pullus' Parent - Barred Rail ( Gallirallus torquatus) 5:21 PM, 1/200 sec, f/7.1, ISO 320 Romy

The lighting is perfect indeed Master Romy. the yellowish golden light adds a flavor to the photos that no other time of day can. Yep, it's sweet... :-)

Nice Colors Master. The sweet light made me crave for chocolate and caramel.
