I saw this rare-in-the-Philippines migrant duck in Candaba last year, but all I managed to capture then was a blurry photo where the yellow tip of the bill was barely noticeable. I'm a bit luckier today - I got the bird more or less in focus, and although the shooting distance was very far, the features are unmistakeable. Who cares about extreme detail and full-framing when it comes to photo-lifers (this is my 251st)? ;D ;D ;D Spot-billed Duck ( Anas poecilorhyncha) 100% crop - 1DM2 + 500 f4 L IS + Canon 1.4x TC, 700 mm, f/7.1, ISO 320, manual expsoure, 475B/3421 support:Romy
