Kaya hindi ako makatulog, Ka Master. Looking at your captures is like taking a double shot of espresso, the barako type. Ka guapo! --- the bird Ka Master. telyd - always in awe of the Master Creator of winged creatures. You are so privileged, indeed!

Master Romy, your photos causes both inspiration and desperation. ;D Inspiration because I would like to able to take pictures like yours someday and desperation because I think I never will. I am definitely awed by the quality of your work.

OMG!! This one's even better. Gooodnessss garasyos, I bet we can see the brain of this bird if blew up the eyes large enough!! Superbly Oconific!
THIS SHOULD BE GIVEN PROPER HONORS. Even the Featured Bird of the Week is not good enough. Hmmmmm, we should start a Hall of Fame kinda thread.

I agree with Lydia. ...
A coffee table, reference and/or guidebook/s on the birds of candaba swamp is in order and a must.
It can be a solo gallery of Master Romy, and/or a collective gallery of the Philippine Bird Photographers.
Will post later the complete list of officially recorded birds in candaba swamp so everybody can check which birds are yet to be photographed.
But even if some of those birds are not yet digitally shot, I reiterate and insist that books of photographs of candaba swamp birds is long overdue.
By publishing a book or books, we raise the level of awareness, its another contribution to wildlife and nature conservation.
