I went to Villa Escudero with Tonji (the hubby) and Tina (the bird master!). Carmela (the dog whisperer) was also there and showed us her usual birding places. We came across this Indigo-Banded Kingfisher outside the gate of the big private house. Carmela thinks it might be a different bird from the one that's usually found near the waterfall area. Thanks Tina and Carmela for for a great day!! Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ 18 with Olympus 1.7x tc, monopod f/4.2, 1/125, cropped, available light

Welcome to the IBK Club of VE, Sylvia, though I still have to get another shot of this celebrity bird. My shot is not worth posting but I was also there and captured it. So I can welcome you. lyd
