It resembles closely the "Common Sandpiper" I got at Sta. Cruz in 2006, I wonder if I mis-IDed this one? Thanks Ka Mastah!! I tried to really get the difference between the two as they really look alike, the GS is slightly bigger than the CS and Propjerry confirmed the ID. The Green Sandpiper has prominent eye ring and lores, your photo is that of the common. The GS did not bob it's tail at all while the CS usually does. And if you were lucky to see the tail of the GS it shows 3 horizontal bars. This means you have to go to SJ to get the GS's photo..hehehe ;D

Can't confirm it's green sand piper, but it's a terrific shot anyhow. Kennedy says there should be 3 dark bars near the tip of the tail.

I am having second thoughts about the identification here. Highlighted 75 x the saturation and the legs turn yellow, not green. Hope our experts give their opinion.

Thanks Propjerry & Ka Mastha!! Definitely there are no barrings similar to the OBI photo on my bird. It must be a well fed Common Sandpiper then, darn!! have to contract my list by one. Will make the necessary corrections.
