While waiting for Nilo to post his lifer shot (excruciatingly taken, if I may add) I'd like to share this common bird, but one that continues to excite us every now and then: Female Olive-backed Sunbird (Nectarinia jugularis) EOS 40D; 400mm f5.6+1.4X TC; Av f/8;1/100 Sec; ISO 640;Tripod Cheerps all!

It's a host tree of some kind - the bird is feeding on the parasitic plant, a mistletoe. :-)
