Greater Flameback - Nikon D300 + Nikkor 500mm f4 VRII + nikon TC14E II, 700mm, ISO 800, f5.6, 1/60, manual exposure, beanbag After months of trying and trying i finally nailed the grater flameback this morning in Caylabne. Manny, martin and I came so close last year in Subic and then a downpour came just when we were about to shoot. Same thing happened in Palay-Palay on two occasions and then this morning its as if it came to me

Whoooe!
With lots of land birds you get with that lens, I can see now that you'd hesitate even more floating it on your aquatic blind.
