Nice cuckoo Rey.
Does it speak Sing-lish? Or In-glish? ;D
Just wondering what can be viewed in the viewfinder if you're in DX mode, still FF or cropped already?
Thanks.

Nice cuckoo Rey. Does it speak Sing-lish? Or In-glish? ;D Just wondering what can be viewed in the viewfinder if you're in DX mode, still FF or cropped already? Thanks. Ted, This Indian Cuckoo was very quite. Spotted it by chance. I was deciding to go back home when I saw it. Spend about 1 hour following it hoping to get a better perch and finally caught it in this perch. In DX mode, 1/2 of the viewfinder will turns dark and can only see the center square. It's more easy than D2X high speed crop mode where only imaginary line on the center will be capturing the picture. If not careful enough u will have a very high chance of cropping away certain parts of the image. In D3 DX mode, there's no chance of cropping away certains parts because you can clearly see the whole image. The viewfinder still displays FF but the picture taken will be in crop version upon preview.

Brilliant shot Rey.... love the detail and eye contact! Thanks Romy. Think with a bit more of PS work, this Bird will look better. Tride to cloned off the OOF branch but the outcome is still not so good. So decided to leave it there. Will try to cleaned up those during my free time. My PS skills is not that good enough.
