the Osprey got my vote. I love your avatar ;D Yeah, we're being watched. LOL. I'm still in a black phoebe mood, so my vote goes to him. ;D Early this summer, I got myself an annual parking pass for regional parks operated by the Sacramento county. I think it's going to be worth it. I can go anytime, and won't feel bad even if I stay for just an hour. Nice harvest Bob. The GBH caption is funny. Can anyone tell me it's really "blue" ? I know, I know, I'm color challenged, that's why I asked. It looks grey to me. I've seen some up close before, but it really doesn't look blue to me.

I think Washington state charges $10/season but if you apply for a fishing/hunting license it comes with free parking. Let's just say the GBH is battleship gray/blue ;D ;D ;D

Great harvest there Bob!! Liked the redstart as it is the most difficult to capture, as it was under canopy, and you nailed it by using a seldom used ISO of 1250

thanks everyone.
April, the Osprey was about 70 feet away preening on top of a tree and across a creek from me. i was just lucky that he did not pay attention to me. ;D
Neon, I took several shots with varying ISO settings, and this is the one that came out best.

For me, I like the black phoebe the most. Especially the BG, very colorful. All are great captures anyway.
