still from the same set during my afternoon hike at Warriewood Wetlands. Australian Grey Teal D300+600mm f/4 + 1.4TC @f/8, 1/80 ISO 500 tripod supported, MF D300+600mm f/4 + 1.4TC @f/8, 1/100 ISO 500 tripod supported, MF just beside them is this Pacific Black Duck sorry for the rather soft parts. i was behind a bunch of tall grass ;D D300+600mm f/4 + 1.4TC @f/8, 1/100 ISO 500 tripod supported, MF a little farther away are a pair of Hardhead Ducks male (white eyed) and female D300+600mm f/4 + 1.4TC @f/8, 1/125 ISO 500 tripod supported, MF all of these, including the Little Black Cormorants and the Little Pied Cormorant were all line abreast in the wooden divide resting/sunbathing without a care in the world. It was a smorgasbord of water birds and i was done shooting in 15 mins. ;D

Nice collection of ducks Jonathan!! Over in Perth I just saw the wood duck and the hardhead. Looks like it will be breeding season soon as they are pairing already. Wait for the ducklings and sure your CF cards won't be enough as you will want to capture every movement the cuties will do.
