Awesome captures, Reyno! Love the 3rd one most. This bird resembles a cross between the Cinnamon and Yellow Bitterns here.

By the way, same genus as a possible Phils ranger - Botaurus. Somebody reported a Botaurus stellaris for Luzon in the last couple of weeks - a bird so little documented for Phils, that we would really need photos for it to be able to really count a new record - anybody up for searching for it?
