Hi all, My first bird post here. So, be gentle. I took this photo last year on my birthday at a local water treament facility. The male birds were singing everywhere. I'm glad this one let me approach quite close. Maybe he was singing me a birthday song. ;D Wish it was a more natural perch. C&C welcome. 500mm, 1/800s, f8, ISO400, EC= +0.33, Flash on, uncropped

Nice first photo post, Fee.... beautiful bird, you must've been able to get very close, as the DOF at f/8 looks pretty thin.

That is a beauty! The bird looks like a cross between a Eurasian Tree Sparrow and a Yellow Wagtail! :-)
