I am bad as this was only the 1st bald eagle processed in that Orlando session with Reyno last Dec. javascript:add("%20;D") Grin . Sorry for the large size as the wing spread is a bit better in a large size. Taken along Reyno's hunting ground. Used A700 + Bigma DG. Manual exposure, 1/1600, f8, ISO320, 360mm focal length, jpg anf hand held. enjoy, gil

So insiring, Gil! Thankyou so much for the dramatic and wonderful pic!. I came SO close to buying a bigma and sony A700 because of your photos. I still may go down the SONY route, but I had to experience Canon L lenses first, lol.

Thanks much all. The preparation to that flight was provided by Reyno (I think he told the eagle to fly in my direction). Reyno, I am negotiating with the wife for a come back but she wants to go first to Vancouver to visit some friends.
For Manny: That was the 1st from about 6-7 shots in sequence. How did we do it? My style is basically similar with Reyno during that session, mostly point and shoot at 100% hand held. He went on the other side and I waited on the other end. The eagle I think saw us both and maybe it was already familiar with Reyno that it flew more in my direction. That shot was the take off prior to the standard eagle flight. It was lots of fun and Reyno was the bird whisperer. cheers, gil
