Well the light has not been good to shoot in the last couple of days so I have been processing and reviewing my images. Here's a Spoonbill. Should be 30D @ 400ISO + 400 5.6L #1 Silhouette #2 Dreaming

Very Nice Chris! I had a strange surreal dream about seeing spoonbills last night (I have never seen one, but I am inspired by the beautiful pictures I see of them). In my dream a flock of giant spoon bills were flying over head with strange trees coming out of their heads, and then one crashed and I had to cuddle it because it was cold:)
Now I think I understand salvador dali's artistic inspiration a little better, lol. I love having tripped out dreams!
I must really hunger to see a spoon bill.

Thanks Romy, bindi, Nestor and Bobby K.
I found a couple more spoonbills today but only to watch them fly off from a distance. I did find one up a tree. I always picture them on the ground or partially in water. Was too far away for my 400mm... aha, dreaming about the SigMomma again.
Bobby, where do you shoot birds in Cebu?
