well, the back is feeling a little better, but still no where near good., but I can't stop shooting! I just go out less often. I have started a workshop business to keep me out there having fun, and so far I am getting some interest. I hope some day to organize a group to meet in The Philippines!! If anyone has any good location suggestions, please let me know., Romy and I have talked about Palawan.. this sounds like a great place! Here is a direct link to my workshop webpage if anyone is interested, when I get something set up, I will post the info in here right away... www.rayswildlife.com/workshops.htmlHere are a few from the last 2 weeks, I took this heron shot during a 21 frame burst last week while out on my first workshop with my guest Nigel. the first 17 frames are in here, the last four were junk as the bird flew into the trees. www.pbase.com/raymondjbarlow/greatblueheronand a few more... 1 Baltimore Oriole 2 House Wren 3 Eastern Bluebird 4 Common Snipe 5 Golden-winged Warbler 6 Blue-gray gnatcatcher thanks for looking!

I love the details! The Baltimore Oriole's color resembles Firefox's icon. Hehe

Very nice shots. Sharp and vivid. I agree with pr0611 on the Firefox icon thing. ;D

Amazing captures Rey..... all are over the top, and the Bluebird is my favorite because of the unbelievable colors and great BG.
Good luck on your new project!

Hi Ray! Ted (Teddy) here from DPR. You're one of the reasons I got into bird photography, because I'm really amaze at your images. In fact I found a link to this site from yours (that's how I discovered Romy, my latest idol). ;D
I assume those were captured with the 200-400?
Palawan is really a nice place. I've been there only once when on vacation.
Good luck with your new workshop gigs.
Regards, Ted

Another beautiful set Ray. Just like Romy, my favorite is the bluebird. I also like the golden winged warbler - such beautiful colors. You're missing my favorite photo though.... Maria's latest photo
