I only had one shot of this eagle. I tried to make some settings adjustments but by the time I'm ready to shoot again. ... he's already gone. 40D | 70-200mm f4L IS | 200mm, f5, 1/1600, ISO 400 | Av | CR2 | Cropped

Amazing shot of this iconic raptor, Jun..... you must have been quite close to get this level of detail with 200 mm.

Amazing shot of this iconic raptor, Jun..... you must have been quite close to get this level of detail with 200 mm. Thank you. Yes I was very close. I was on a viewing tower and the tree was behind me. I just finished taking a photo of my sister when she pointed out the eagle perched just behind me. I quickly took a shot, but unfortunately he flew away before I can experiment with different settings. The lack of range sometimes frustrates me. But until I replenish my "photography fund" I'm afraid I'm stuck with the 70-200mm. No worries tho. I still got a huge learning curb ahead of me but I am enjoying this new found hobby. Thanks for your encouragement. www.gregorio.ca/eyeboll/archives/640xWildlife/IMG_1240x640.jpg[/img]
