Taken at Royal Botanic Gardens, Sydney Nov 8, 2006 Rainbow lorikeet Size: 28cm Habitat: Distributed down the East coast of Australia through VIC and into SA. Frequents rainforest, open forest, parks and gardens in search of nectar and seeds. Notes: Red bill, blue face with yellow collar, red chest, green and yellow wings. Beautiful set Jonathan. It these were mine, I would tone down the colors a bit, still it's a fine work. Keep them coming.

Thanks Rey! just a note, i didn't alter the colors during PP. these birds just screams with those colors really.. and that's using multiply.com where the colors get desaturated a bit compared to flickr where colors are more accurate and retains its sharpness. my general motto in PP is to keep the colors as accurate as possible just like in real life when i saw it.. if you compare it to the green foliage in the background, they really do stand out like a sore, colorful thumb. ;D their greens are greener, blues bluer, reds redder, and yellows yellowererer... ;D

Man, those colors really rock. I agreed with Rey's suggestion but, as you explained, I agree the bird's like heavy metal at max volume. How does it look on the Histogram?
