Wow, those eyes are scary. If I'm the prey, I'll literally run for my life. ;D
Ray, I assume those are from the D300 and 200-400 combo? Amazing captures.
Have you started shooting with Canon's yet?
Regards.

thanks everyone.. this was an amazing opportunity, and I amSorry it takes me so long to respond, I am working 16-18 hours a day at this photography business, and the work never ends!.. I am actually writting a book.. more on that later.
Ted.. thanks for the comment, and thanks for the emails too.
I am considering Canon equipment, so I can better help people with Canon gear... most wildlife photogs up this way are shooting Canon, so my doors will open to a larger crowd if I am familiar with this gear.... but!!!
Nikon is looking into working with me, and I need to wait and see how that turns out.. I hope to be picking up a new D700 this afternoon, and doing some testing... should be fun.
take good care bud.. talk to you soon.

No problem Ray.
Wow, a D700. You can crank up the shutter speed and ISO without worrying for noise. BUT my only issue is the reach of full frame, you'll lose the crop factor of the D300. And that requires maybe at least a 600m for small birds?
Let us know how it goes with the D700.
Regards
