Went back to Narrabeen Lake today, this time in the afternoon to try and practice sharpening my MF skills so i don't have to rely always on AF (just in case) ;D I didn't use my soft 2x TC coz it's just useless.. i'd rather throw it into the lake.. ;D nah.. so finally i was able to capture better pics of this super duper cute flying balls of fur... ;D Variegated Fairy-wren Size: 14cm Habitat: Distributed through out most of inland Australia, this Wren inhabits open forests, mallee scrub and a wide variety of low growing vegetation. Feeds on insects. Notes: Male: Black and blue face, black chest and white/buff belly, red/brown patch on back, brown wings , blue tail. thanks doc! thanks rey! yeah they're pretty hard to spot coz they're so tiny and agile flying from tree to tree to shrubs. the only way to know they're there is through their lovely chirps.
