taken today at a reserve park just 500m from where i live. Eastern yellow Robin Size: 15cm Habitat: Distributed down the Eastern side of Australia, the Eastern Yellow Robin inhabits rainforests and woodland, pouncing from low branches for insects and grubs on the forest floor. Notes: Grey bird with yellow belly, small dark bill and dark eyes. Breeds Winter-Spring.300mm f/5.6 1/60 ISO 1250 I have two other bird shots which i can't identify. they're at the Bird Identification section.

what a colorful bird! your shots tend to be on the "bluer" side, though.

thanks, sir bob! yeah.. must be the bluer sky down here... wreaks havoc to WB settings. have to compensate for that next time..
