Hi guys, I decided to target waders today and managed to bag a decent number of keepers. The mighty 600 teamed with a 2x provides excellent reach for small skittish birds and produces very good results. Here's a few from today: Black Winged Stilt 1DMk3, 1200mm (600+2x TC), 1/400, f8, ISO400 1DMk3, 1200mm (600+2x TC), 1/400, f8, ISO400 1DMk3, 1200mm (600+2x TC), 1/500, f8, ISO400 1DMk3, 1200mm (600+2x TC), 1/500, f8, ISO400 Sandpiper 1DMk3, 1200mm (600+2x TC), 1/200, f8, ISO400 Comb-crested Jacana 1DMk3, 1200mm (600+2x TC), 1/200, f8, ISO400 1DMk3, 1200mm (600+2x TC), 1/320, f8, ISO400 Thanks for looking, William

Yep, you're right William, excellent reach but excellent captures too. The last photo is the best for me, love the light and the eye contact.
