Been a while since I've been here...
Was wondering if you folks can recommend a reliable secondhand car dealer in Cebu? I am looking for a Diesel Hilux or Strada or something similar.
Any websites? Also, do you normally keep books on servicing in the PI? Should I expect a stamped (I know, rubber stamps) book?

Chris, there are many places in Cebu where you can buy 2nd hand cars or trucks. I will scan Sunday's papers (best time to look for ads of this sort) and see if I can find a diesel Hi-lux or Strada.

Thanks Bobby. Don't take too much of your time with this as I probably will not move on it in the next couple of weeks. Would be more useful to know which newspaper you would use? And perhaps which street/area in Cebu has the most dealers... =) Salamat. CL

Chris, Sunstar Cebu, a local daily, runs an extensive classified ads section, and on Sundays, direct sellers also run ads. The second-hand stores are located mostly in the area of Subangdaku Mandaue City and A.S. Fortuna Street, Mandaue City. They have displays that can be seen along the hi-ways or side streets.
FYI, I scanned th classifieds, and there are some Hi-lux diesels for sale; no Strada that I can see. The average price is around 550K for such types here. It would be best if you call them directly though.
