Hmmmmmm......am planning to trade my 600f4 with the 800f5.6, if all of these tests are accurate, what d'you think, guys? need master Romy's opinion, please!

I like the 600 focal length however due to the weight it makes the 800 look very attractive. The sharpness tests show the 800 to be very sharp and indeed the king of the hill. Losing AF on the 1D's with the 2x is somewhat downside though not a major deal as you can still attach a 1.4x and AF @ 1120mm on a 1D.
If you have the opportunity to upgrade then I say go for it! the 800 is an amazing piece of glass! Let us know what you decide.
