Met Mark this morning at Hardin. He came all the way from Taft (Manila) but the birds were not about. All we got were a few of the usual. This one, I think, is a Common Sandpiper but can't be sure as the dark line that intersects the eye is not that distinct. Can anyone confirm? Mark and I happilly trudged in the mud. Here're some other creatures we saw:

Yup, it is a CSP, and a nice capture at that! The last photo is a Common Physicist in breeding plumage.

Great catch of the WTKF Ding, looks a lot better from the backside with all the vivid colors. The Common Physicist looks like a male juvenile.
