....taken in Palawan....right above my head while trying to photograph the White-vented Shama....fortunately Nilo A. was there to warn me...i was told later that it is one of the most poisonous snakes in the world...

Yeah you're right. It's one of the deadliest....
I was just watching a show on national Geographic channel about this viper.

Wow..... you won't see me venturing into the same island as that deadly snake. I'd only photograph that from Mt. Halcon, Mindoro, using a Sigmonster + 16x TC!

Raul, I think this is a red tailed rat snake, Gonyosoma oxycephela, alot of people has been mistaken this guy as a viper..do you have any more pics of this guy?
