Geez, Nikon have definitely taken it to the next level this year with their bodies and now this lens. Love the fact it's internal focus, looks like a big prime Birder's dream? possibly, depends how much it will retail for and its optical performance... nice going though! I hope Canon updates the 100-400L, it really needs it IMO.

I don't know, it looks ugly to me ... like a flashlight. Ay! If it's fake, a good PS job though.
The 80-400 VR is really due for a replacement, being the very first Nikkor to have the VR (that's the IS equivalent).
If it's any good, and at the right price ... I might bite. How I wish it's a constant f/4 though.
I better start starving ... errr ... I mean saving. ;D
