Another term for BIF ... "Bats In Flight". That's so cool April.
Bats always gives me creeps. Eeeek.
What a coincidence, last Sunday while still in Tahoe, I'm walking along a trail by the visitor's center looking for birds, when I saw this couple (and their dogs) looking at a bat on the ground.
The guy said he just saw it, so he moved it so it won't get crushed by people passing by.
The bat really looks weak, he must have been accidentally stepped on already.

Wow..... nice shots, April and Jonathan! Bitten by the bat fever too..... let me dig up a couple of batsnaps from Subic. ;D And my all-time favorite bat shot ( Warning - bat genitalia displayed, don't click if you find such offensive). ;D www.pbase.com/liquidstone/image/42534976/original

He-he. I can see his ***** is drooping and tongue sticking out probably from some intensely satisfying and exhausting activity. That's one happy bat!
