Is it effective? Would you buy one??? Yes, I would use one. It would be effective if there are no people roaming around your blind ;D, like most places here. How much and where can you get this type of blind?

AHa! Now, that's a good design. Haven't torn up yet my camo sheet (courtesy of Tina) as Im still thinking about what the best desin would be. This one looks like it can fold flat like a baby's tram.
Could be useful on my next stakeout at Bosoboso.

Ding, I'll ask Flor to make a hide for you by the river. Just tell me the design and where you'd like it placed. They have made a path to the river with access from Flor's place. I'm serious. lyd

How much and where can you get this type of blind? hi po, with tax it would be roughly about 5,500 pesos. Its not fully enclosed so i guess in manila, it won't be too hot inside !!My sister's friend works in a hunting shop. She told me about this blind. it does fold down...

Ordered a blind from the U.S and everything (blind+S&H) cost me less than P3,000.00. The blind itself is heavy duty but the zippers are lousy - 2 of them are broken already. I think i'll have to bring it to mr.quickie to have the zippers replaced with heavy duty ones. JP & Martin used it while we were in Cavite for the hoopoe shoot unfortunately, the bird decided to stay with me at another area ;D In other words, they never got to test the blind to see if it will work ;D Here's a photo of the blind & description: *No other hunting blind delivers the level of transportability and concealment. Weighing only 8 lbs., and folding into a 2" thick by 27" diameter backpack, it can be easily packed to the furthest hunting spots. The blind unfolds into a roomy 5 1/2' square by 6 1/2' tall blind that can handle two people. It is also an ideal blind for disabled hunters. A spring steel frame enables the blind to pop-up in seconds, while the water-resistant, nylon exterior protects the hunter from the elements. Four large zippered windows provide a 360 degree range of visibility.

There is a similar one at SM, camouflaged like JP's except it is meant as a play tent for children. This you can buy at SM children toy section; ask for the tents. I asked for the price at SM Centerpoint: Php 600.00.

I asked for the price at SM Centerpoint: Php 600.00. Saw something similar, think it's worth a try for six hunerd bucks, if it doesn't work, you can always give it to a friend's child.
