I login because i come next year april/may 2009 for the 2e time to the Philippines to do some nice birding.I like to film the endemic birds and thats why i don`t travel with birdtours because they go way to fast. So,i`m looking for people who knows good spots of the endemics, like i see on this site a lot off good pictures from Indigo-banded kingfisher.Do you know some birds who are nesting every year on the same place,or are easy to see in certain places,or you know somebody who know some good spots, please contact me.I will travel to Luzon,Palawan,Mindanao,Panay,Mindoro,Negros,Calayan,Camiguin del Sur and some small islands.

Hello Daniel, Welcome to the forum. You might want to narrow down your choices for areas to shoot endemics and then decide which island to focus your efforts. Another approach would be to choose an island/s then plan your activities from there. It will boil down to how much time you have, how much risk you are willing to take per site (wild birds are not as predictable here), how far can you go (physically with your choice gears), what travel/accommodation arrangement is "comfortable" for you and lastly you have to take into consideration the cost of all of these. Best regards.
