After a long day of counting waterbirds in our Pulupandan wetlands, we were rewarded with this bird just along the roadside pond. Feeding and ignore our presence. Got lucky Sir Bob! Lately this bird were seen in fishpond in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. I remember we got a flock of this bird last 2005 crossing to Tampi.
