Cloudy skies have made it impossible to shoot highly detailed captures of the Supermoon the past several nights. But such bad seeing also gave the opportunity to get some unusual lunar images. Shooting info - Paranaque City, Philippines, Match 19, 2011, 7D + 500 f4 IS + 1.4x TC, 1/25 sec, f/5.6, ISO 400, manual exposure, remote switch, 475B/516 support, uncropped full frame resized to 1500x1000. Shooting info - Paranaque City, Philippines, March 21, 2011, 1D4 + 400 2.8 IS, f/2.8, 1/640 sec, ISO 1600, manual exposure, 475B/516 support Any of the birdnuts got some Supermoon captures too?

Those images are terrific - specially the one with a plane in the foreground. Too bad that I never got to shoot the Supermoon - it was raining in Cebu that evening.
