I have always been amazed and immensely proud of this endemic duck. I never could resist taking a photo of it every opportunity I got. So bear with me as I post again another photo of my favorite ducks- taken at Candaba. The paired ducks was taken courtesy of Edu Lozenzo who made sure the ducks flew in my direction as he constantly tried to get closer to it. I agree with you about the Philippine Duck. The green patch on the wing is so unique that it is so easy to identify. Nice capture Doc & Mabuhay.

It's always a thrill to capture these lovely endemics in flight. And you did capture them well, Doc Chito! I just noticed a sensor dust in photos 1 and 2 (can be easily cloned out )

Lovely set, Doc Chito! I'm still to get a decent shot of our endemic duck. Agree with Bob on the sensor dust.
