Candaba has an entry to the Ms Philippines-Earth 2008 Pageant, Kristelle Lazaro. She will represent and promote Candaba's conservation program featuring the Candaba Wetland Wildlife Reserve. We need the support of the Philippine Bird Photogs when we hold photo session with Kristelle in Simang. To see her photos Google search her complete name. How about it guys and ladies?

He-he. When I opened this thread, I thought it would be about a nicely posed bird. Here she is: A whole lot more here: www.flickr.com/photos/albertgoquingco/sets/72157602465985400/Not sure what help you need from us but if you meant to ask us to shoot, I would love to help out. But will have to see if my boss (wife) will allow me to shoot beautiful creatures other than birds or herself.

He, he. Ding, that's the least of your problems. Ms. Leny, the PBP sharpshooters have 400mm to 1,600mm (more++) that to get a good shot of Kristelle, the photographer will have to move (safely) way, way back and she will need to stay in the field with the birds, if that is the case in Simang. No studio shots for these guys. (BTW, the guy who took her picture is good.) Check out the photo of Ixi Mapua, the Cow Whisperer shot in one of the threads. Neon had to run so many yards away to shoot that. Not kidding, it's true. Nice, nice picture. Neon, wanna do something like that again? telyd

Hmmm.... not sure if I know how to do this genre, but I'd surely try my best! Calling all the expert glam/portrait shooters at PBP.... we'll volunteer to hold the reflectors!

We need photos of Kristelle with Simang as background or setting. I will meet her tomorrow for a briefing and to set the date of the shoot. She will have to look like a birder but still remain glamorous like the ladies of the group. If any of you guys want to help me with the briefing we will be at the MOA Starbucks at the back of the giant globe tomorrow Thursday 4:30 pm.

Can't be there. MOA is a continent away from where I am.
I recommend some birders give her advice on what to wear and how to pose. I've seen too many models trying to pose into a character that looks too fake. First off, she'll have to appear like she has no makeup. Then, getup should be natural colors. No need to show too much skin. Alluring but not provocative. Pose should not look like a pose. If she has to hold equipment (eg. binos or cameras), should be the right way. And, finally, she has to appear accidentally glamorous.

Haven't you noticed that mostly boys are active on this thread? Of course, me, if I do join my only objective is purely just to help out.
