Wonderful documentation. I hope that the chicks will make it to full grown. Sometimes, when the mature one feels the threat, it abandons its nest and not come back to feed its young. I hope it does not happen here. Distance, silence, less movement, less people. I hope you get a good photo shoot progress. So guys, this is the Jan-March is the height of the courtship/mating season. March-April is the nesting season, Now that the chicks are out, the butterfly larvaes are being laid on the young shoots of trees/plants. Amazing orchestration! Awesome nature activities.

Amazingly beautiful series, Mon.... these show that photo-documentation need not be just mere "record type" shots. Love the landscapes too!

Thanks guys, your encouragement had given me energy to check the hatchlings for the past 3 weeks. I am excited to embark on a new subject - hope to photograph those illusive ducks!
