Finally, I was able to visit my favorite wetlands a few days ago and I got to see the famous geese too, albeit from a great distance. Candaba wetlands at sunset, December 27, 2010 - 1D4 + 500 f4 IS + Canon 1.4x TC, 700 mm, f/11, ISO 200, 1/800 sec, 475B/3421 support, manual exposure, uncropped full frame (resized to 1500x1000). And my birding buddy who enjoyed shooting the wetlands BIFs, 5D2 + 100-400 IS, hand held.

Wow superb set Mastah Romy. It's the same birds but looks entirely different, by far the best images of the White-fronted Geese I've seen. The sunset with the silhouettes of the birds is very dramatic and so beautiful. Pogito has grown a lot and is quite a handsome young man.

Wonderful shots of the geese, Romy. It nice to see that they are still 13. The portrait of the barred rail is just incredible! Pogito looks like ready to fill somebody's shoes soon!
