Shooting Details Camera: Nikon D90 Exposure: 0.002 sec (1/500) Aperture: f/5.6 Focal Length: 400 mm ISO Speed: 200 Handheld Natural Light Post process Lightroom 1. Crop 2. lowered the highlights 3. lightened the darks 4. brushed the upper and lower parts to reduce exposure by 2 steps 5. sharpened a bit 6. exported to photoshop Photoshop 1. masked out a wayward and distracting twig above the back of the subject 2. brush-blurred the upper and lower parts as the exposure adjustment in LR pixelated these areas 3. used the auto-levels 4. adjusted levels 5. added some more blur to the right area 6. dodge the iris and burned the upper parts of the eyeball 7. added a luminocity layer and added some sharpening then reduced the opacity to about 50% 8. added the text 9. threw it back to lightroom by closing the image with saving as TIFF Lightroom 1. a little noise reduction to clean things up 2. exported to jpeg 3. added a little salt and pepper, season to taste (sorry couldn't help it )

Thanks for sharing your workflow Sir Edu. I sure wish others will also post their post-processing techniques. ;D I still have to learn to learn a lot about Photoshop.

Thank you Sir Eric, sadly I could not post the exact numbers used in adjustments. Each picture we take is unique so a single workflow really is not possible.
