A million thanks to Ding for taking us (Bert, Doc Mando, Toto, and me) to La Mesa watershed last Saturday. We had a ball shooting the Ospreys and the other raptors, including a Grey-headed Fish Eagle, a Peregrine Falcon, and another one we can't ID yet. The place seems to be a raptor country. Man, I can prolly spend an entire day (no, make it a week) there just shooting these birds of prey. Here's my favorite Osprey shot from the sortie. Osprey ( Pandion haliaetus) La Mesa Watershed, 19 Dec 2009 40D + 400 f/5.6 L, ISO 400, f/5.6, 1/500 sec, manual exposure, 190XB/393 support, cropped Thanks for looking.
