Very nice, Ed.... there must be many raptors preying on small mammals in this area.

Wow!! 6 frames , I could only see 2 not so good spliced areas where the color of the sky and the part of the mountain edges were displaced. Good job Ed. It's good that the place was evenly lit. I think a tripod would have made it easier to level the horizon and pan more easily.

A road less traveled, although gravel but no holes unlike in most road here . Sir Ed this is art, so beautifully done! Wow!

Thank you, guys! @ Neon, I had another 8 shots merged but turned out stitching was so obvious. Dont know how to blend on spliced areas. @ Romy, I really don't know if you have this instinct of knowing a bird's habitat since I captured this red-tailed hawk with meal (looks like a headless gopher with matching big flies) while roaming this place..hehehe. 1D2 MkN,600F4+1.4xTC on van's window(backlit).

Two things, Ed: 1. Grasslands are full of small mammals and raptors prefer hunting there because of easier visibility. 2. I know you as more into birds than landscapes. I had no doubt you were there to shoot avian subjects. Nice catch for you and the hawk! ;D ;D ;D
