This is the view of Mt. Arayat from Brgy. Paralaya, this year's new site for the Asian Waterbird Census. We got lots of waders (plovers, sandpipers) and saw lot of Oriental Skylarks in this location. Here's a digiscoped picture of the skylark (yes, they are quite near :

Wonderful Mt. Arayat shot!! wish I have a second body to fit a lens for landscape shots during sorties! Yes, Oriental Skylark without driving 500+ Km. I need to go to this place as well.
