Don't worry Nilo. The owl nest is actually the Stag horn fern planted on a tall coconut tree that is difficult to reach. It is in a very exposed area, right beside a swimming pool. The bird may be accustomed already to the caretakers of the place who have been instructed not to attempt to disturb the nest.
Steve, I'd say the place is still part of Metro Manila (about 30km East of Manila-center).

Just a reminder. Because of the possible trolling of this site by people not interested in the welfare of the bird - it is sufficient just the Island, and the Province. If I need more specific location details I will ask for it by PM (not accessible therefore to the ill-intentioned!).
