Congratulations Onnie. Maybe it is time to go back to Twin Lakes. Problem now is that it is raining season and it would be a wasted trip if it is raining. Thanks sir Ely Teehankee. I think FB flowerpecker breeds somewhere on June to July that's why we spotted them in low elevations

Hello everyone, We just only targeting the blue-headed fantail, maroon-naped sunbird and magnificent sunbird but luckily we spotted new lifers in the area which very ucommon or rare photograph in Twin Lakes, Sibulan, Negros Oriental. w/ Dominic Deloso, Jilmer Academia, Janfif Arrieta and Eugene Enojo. This is only a duco shot of Grey-breasted Brown Dove which newly split of P. maculipectus Canon at 300MM, 1/125sec, F7.1, ISO:800, Handheld and manual exposure Date was taken on 8/9/14 This bird was mix flocks with Magnificent Sunbird, Flaming Sunbird and Yellowish White-eye. We spotted the male and female species but we only managed to take photograph of the male because of the light conditions. Fire-breasted Flowerpecker Canon at 300MM, 1/100sec, F7.1, ISO:800, handheld and manual exposure Thank you for viewing..

Hi, Good Day! It's been awhile I haven't post any photos here in PBPF so I tried going to the Twin Lakes, Balinsasayao Neg. Or. yesterday (3/30/14) hoping for a chance to take a photo of the Maroon-naped Sunbird but luckily I was able to photograph both its sexes the Male and the Female, so I called it a day basing on the number of lifers especially the Blue-Headed fantail with the flocks of Elegant Tits, Black-naped Monarch (Female), Yellowish White-eye, Olive-backed Sunbird, Orange-bellied Flowerpecker, Manificient Sunbird, Visayan Bulbul and Philippine Tailorbird. With my fellow bird photographers: Dominic Deloso, Malcolm Bagnol and some of our students. Here's my awkward full-frame of Maroon-naped Sunbird: D7000 at 300MM 1/250sec F5.6 ISO:800 Handheld Manual Exposure w/ PP Female D7000 at 300MM 1/200sec F5.6 ISO:800 Handheld Manual Exposure w/ PP Male Thanks for viewing
