Interesting. Is Lonavla in India? It is a hill station some 100 KM from Mumbai in India...During rainy season it is a heaven....You see water falls from all over...

This little squerral was a hard nut to crack. He would not sit in a place even for munite. By the time I would try and focus my lens he was gone. Finally I did get him. ;D Camera 60D Lens 500mm f/4.5L USM ISO1000 f/10 shutter 1/250sec.

This is my first post putting up my pictures. I took these pictures last year duing my visit to a small town in India called Lonavla. It was during the rainy season. I saw this creature (I do not know the name) and took it on a leaf and then took tome closeup pictures.

I use a Canon 7D with EF500mm f/4 lens. I do have a TC1.4x as well. The problem is that the small birds are so fast that before I am able to see them in my view finder they are gone...How do I handle that??....

Just one more question Sir....Do you set the camera to Manual mode of AV mode? I normally shot on Aprature prority mode at f/8 with ISO at 400 and make sure that the shutter is between 1/500sec to 1/1000 sec if the bird is sitting and if it is in flight then shutter at 1/1200 to 1/1600sec..... Please correct me if I am wrong.

Hi everyone and Good Morning.... I am Hussain Nalwala an Indian by birth and have been living in Dubai for almost 28 years. I have my business here in Dubai and due to that I have the opportunity to travel quite often all over the world. I have been a lover of nature since my childhood but had to give it a backseat since I had lost my father at a very young age and had to look after our business. Now I am back with my passion for photography, specially birds and wildlife. I am also a keen golfer. I will be posting my photography from time to time and request one and all to give me your views so that I can improve myself... Regards Hussain
