This species is another "mystery" for me. They used to number in the hundreds over at the town of Alcoy, but when I visited the place recently, lo and behold, their numbers have dwindled significantly! I counted maybe 15 or so at the most. In any case, I got to capture a pair of them right outside our usual rented room. It does seem to me, at least, that something is happening to the bird populations and it could well be Fukushima or Climate change! If I am right, it would be best for all of us to go out and refresh our photo records now while they are still around. Take care, Bobby K.
